My Philosophy

I was born an artist, and have moved through life with an ongoing passion for discovery and play. I have a knack for resourcefulness and believe people deserve to live, work, and entertain in feel good environments regardless the size of their bank accounts.

My Methodology

Most of what I know about curation I learned in play rehearsal. Bringing a space — or a story — to life starts with character and plot—but must be seasoned by invention. One of my grad school professors used to drill us to "get more mileage out of your props" — meaning consider what every object is capable of as essential to the story you are telling. I approach every project the way Archie taught me to look at a prop — hunting for what's hidden, finding a new use for what’s in hand, and digging to uncover something surprising.

Hunter is my middle name.
